Hate Mail.

I seem to be getting a lot of comments from Dirty Kuffars, which I can only describe as a totally unjustified torrent of abuse.

I know I'm right, and much better and far more moral than all the Christians, atheists, agnostics and devotees of the flying spaghetti monster out there. How do I know this? Because the Koran says so. End of argument and I know that's guaranteed to totally shoot down every anti-sharia pseudo-intellectual out there who probably didn't even bother to remove their shoes before arriving at this blog. I bet some of them are even female, which just goes to show what you get when allowing women to have opinions of their own.

That I can't be online for more than a few months without getting all this abuse just goes to show how we Muslims are unfairly discriminated against. Next these people will be trying to upset me by sending me Christmas e-cards or something...

Women...They're So Stupid. Perhaps Because They're Women.

Someone called my attention to this article: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/faith/article3006561.ece

Me? I'm totally clueless as to why she wanted to do this. What possible reason would she have to convert to a 'religion' that emphasises love and forgiveness and accepts women as children of the Almighty loved by Him from the day they're born to the day that they die (and even afterwards), when she could have remained a Muslim and be judged according to the proper criteria as to whether or not they're worthy before Allah (i.e. if you're female then you only have half the intelligence of a male, plus you're devious by nature which is why most females go straight to hell).

Maybe it was the fact that, as a woman, she's naturally deficient in the brains department. Who knows? I'm just glad that I'm a man and therefore have a head start with Allah (PBUH).

The Stench Of Hypocrisy...

Samina Malik, author of some extremely good Islamic poetry (even though she's a woman...she must be a genius by female standards!), has been convicted under the 'Terrorism' Act.

So for a infidel woman to name a teddy bear after Mohammed (PBUH) is reasonable and doesn't require any punishment, but for a Muslima to be free to write poetry about martyrs and the beheading of infidels is unreasonable?!?

I see double standards here, and I'm sorry to mention it again, but this just goes to show how much Muslims are discriminated against in this country.

I'm 100% behind Samina here, although I think she's a little lax when it comes to hiding her feminine sexuality. The photo I saw of her displayed her wearing only a hijab. My personal feelings are: that a hijab is OK until around the age of puberty, when men are to be forgiven for being so sexually attracted to females that they just cannot control their lustful feelings. After this time, it just has to be the burqa - even the sight of naked female eyes can send Muslim males into a uncontrollable sexual frenzy (it does with me), although the nikab is perhaps permissable for old women who have wrinkly eyes anyway. Older females are both less likely to inflame male passions, AND more likely to need to see where they're going, which is my rationale for maybe being a little liberal when it comes to womens' clothing.

Samina, I respect you as much as I respect any woman but please try harder - not only would dressing in a burqa be far more seemly, but it would also have helped you evade capture in the first place. And that AS WELL as getting on a bus for free using someone else's bus pass or getting a driving licence easily by getting someone else in a burqa to stand in for you. Let's face it, that wouldn't be morally wrong - you wouldn't have to know how to do a 3-point turn, just how to set yourself on fire and drive into an airport building.

Just 15 days...what a total insult.

So Gillian Gibbons, the teacher who insulted the beloved prophet, gets just 15 DAYS!!! To all those brothers who have been calling for this woman to be shot dead...I feel for you. That anyone would choose to leave a life of relative safety in the United Kingdom to become a teacher in the Sudan and then use her position to drag Islam through the mud by allowing a teddy bear to be called by the name of Mohammed (PBUH)...I'm just speechless.

I don't know that I agree with a death sentence for Ms. Gibbons, exactly - call me a liberal do-gooder if you want, but I think that 40 lashes would be more than enough to concentrate this teacher's mind on real teachings that every child should take to heart as soon as possible, i.e. that all Jews are evil and that George W. Bush conspired with Mossad to bring down the Twin Towers so he'd have an excuse to invade Iraq and Afghanistan.

But the Sudanese government has chosen to compound the insult of having a children's teddy bear named after our prophet, by only making this woman serve 15 days in prison. Perhaps the Sudanese government has given in to totally unreasonable demands from foreign governments to "go easy" on this kuffar.

My perspective? This woman has insulted my faith. How dare she insult the prophet this way? And that so many of the kuffar are expressing disbelief that the faithful are calling for this woman to be killed, just goes to show how much we, as Muslims, are discriminated against.

UPDATE: She has now been released; expect days of newspaper articles expressing how 'sorry' she is for defaming our beloved prophet, and how 'unintentional' the whole thing was.

Well Gibbons, we Muslims have more intelligence than you give us credit for. We know that you did it intentionally with a mind to hurt the feelings of Muslims everywhere. Why do you think that there were many of us protesting in the streets, waving machetes, and calling for your execution? You can't pull the wool around OUR eyes, woman.

What I find sad about this whole affair is that it was the intervention of two Muslim politicians that helped secure her release. Do these 'Muslims' not care that Mohammed (PBUH) was insulted by applying his name to a childrens' teddy bear? I personally think that these people are MINOs (Muslims In Name Only). I mean, good grief - if you visit Baroness Warsi's website, she's displayed not even wearing a hijab, never mind the far more modest nikab or burqa. I was so disgusted by this blatant pornography that I had to leave my computer and lock myself in the bathroom for 10 minutes.
